Travels to Barcelona started with discovery from the start. Pam's sister, Judy, whom I had only briefly met, graciously volunteered to drive me from Burlington to the Dartmouth Coach, which would take me to Logan Airport. Judy and I spent two hours getting to know each other and she was my sherpa guide to the first leg of the journey. From the start the journey started with curiosity and learning. It continued on the bus ride to Boston as I sat next to a NH legislator and we explored topics of travel, art, politics and leadership. He was taking his wife down to Boston to see a play.

The time at the airport was long before I could get my boarding pass and while I had hoped to finish off some work, the day unfolded differently and it forced me to relax right off the bat, read, enjoy a glass of champagne and look forward to my upgraded flight across the pond. Smooth sailing all the way. As I write this piece I am at Gatwick Airport, enjoying listening to the Brits' accents again and looking forward to the last leg of the journey and seeing Becca in a few hours.

Stay tuned!
